The Property
Cliff Retreat is a stunning period apartment situated in the centre of Dovercourt Bay. This space is all about comfortable living and socialising, with a large open plan family room. There is a log burner in the seating area for a cosy evening in front of a fire and a dining area for delicious family meals, all bathed in light from the beautiful bay sash windows. The kitchen, although separate, has an opening into the living room space which is ideal for those who want to cook and still socialise at the same time.
There are two bedrooms available, the first being the luxurious master with a large king sized bed, fluffy pillows and black out curtains for a relaxing nights sleep. The second bedroom has two single beds and is ideal for either adults or children.
The bathroom is really an amazing space to relax in; sink in to the roll top bath for a soak with candles and a good book.
There is off road parking for one car, but there are no restrictions with parking on the road or the seafront which is only 50yds away.
The Neighbourhood
If you are looking for a stay away by the sea, Cliff Retreat is in the perfect location. You can walk to the sea front in less than a minute, and take in the stunning views of Dovercourt Bay and the historic lighthouses. Situated on the edge of the town centre, you have a variety of shops and cafes on your doorstep. If you fancy venturing further, Old Harwich is is 20 minute walk along the beautiful promenade where there are more pubs and restaurants to enjoy.
Transport
If you don’t fancy the walk to Old Harwich, Dovercourt Station is only a 5 minute walk away where you can catch a quick train to Old Harwich. You can also catch trains to London Liverpool Street from here if you are wanting to explore our capital city.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road (about 30 seconds away!) which will take you locally around Harwich and surrounding villages.
